Robert K. Bacon

Bobby Bacon has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Earl Bacon Agency since 1995.  In 2020 he ascended to the position of Chairman of the Board and remains our CEO.  He is a 1976 graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. In addition, Bobby holds post graduate designations as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Chartered Property/Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), and Certified Public Pension Trustee (CPPT). Bobby began his insurance career in 1981 and has extensive experience in all lines of insurance. He is a Director of the Sunshine Community Bank and is a Trustee of the Tallahassee Police Officers’ Supplemental Share Retirement Plan. In 2004, Bobby was recognized by the Rotary Clubs of the Tallahassee area with their “Ethics in Business” Award and he was named the Outstanding CPA in Business & Industry by the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
